The Robinson Landing project is a luxury amenities center for use by owners who live in the surrounding luxury condominium development situated on the banks of the Potomac River. Shalom Baranes Associates created this contemporary design which required the use of a wide variety of materials and the expertise of Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork to bring their vision to life. The project consisted of approximately 300 square feet of randomly matched plain sliced walnut veneer wall panels, ceiling panels, doors, cabinetry, and mirror surrounds. Spinney beck Leather wall panels with built-in stainless-steel AV surrounds. Custom cabinetry with McGrory back painted glass door and drawer faces trimmed out with Stylemark stainless steel finished trim and Pulp Studios mirrored backsplashes. A reception desk clad with Forms and Surfaces Fused Nickle Silver Sea Stone 16 gauge bent sheet metal, Corian, leather, and walnut panels. A mailroom island unit clad in stone with leather-wrapped door and drawer faces. Custom bent stainless-steel elevator surrounds with McGrory back painted glass wall panels. Lastly a solid walnut 4 door stile and rail sliding pocket door unit with frosted glass. Procuring and coordinating all the different materials into the production process made the project challenging which is what sets Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork apart from other Mill shops. Our ability to make the difficult and challenging projects seamless.
