The Providence of Fairfax, Silverstone Senior Living is a beautiful senior living facility in Vienna, Virginia. We were honored to be a part of the team and for the opportunity to fabricate and install our millwork in areas such as bars, private dining areas, and beautiful amenity spaces from the ground floor thru the 8th floor. Walking into this luxurious facility you will notice a glass fireplace surrounded by 250 square feet of wood grain panels with applied trim. The entry area divides the main lobby and dining space where you can also appreciate the different ways our millwork has been incorporated into the surrounding areas. As you walk through the ground floor you will come upon floor to ceiling applications of raised wood grain panels, wrapped columns, shelving units, and ceiling beams suspended 13 feet above the floor.
Although beautiful, this project did not come without its challenges. A few notable and difficult tasks were coordinating the installation of custom design routed in aluminum ceiling panels above one of the main lobby bars as they aligned with the tile backsplash and cabinets below. However, the hardest part of our execution was being able to plan and fabricate the large pieces of shelving units, columns, wall, and ceiling panels with very little seams. The Providence of Fairfax, Silverstone Senior Living space was truly challenging but is an absolutely gorgeous combination of millwork, fabric, and aluminum.
