Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork flawlessly executed the fabrication and installation of this Washington DC 53,000 SF office. The challenging architectural millwork project had an aggressive start to finish 12-week schedule and boasts an elaborate Innovation Lab ceiling design created by VOA Architects. This beautiful ceiling features a honeycomb configuration with contoured shape. The honeycomb ceiling serves as the home for the client’s intricate LED lighting system. The lighting system sets the scene for a gamut of events and team building exercises making this a true gathering place. Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork manned the project with our talented group of artisans, both in the shop and in the field. Each component of the millwork package was delivered correctly the first time within the expected timeframe. Teamwork was instrumental in maintaining the projects quality control and schedule. This unique project was the recipient of the WBC Craftsmanship Award.
