Marilyn Kontny

HR/Payroll Manager

As HR/Payroll Manager, Marilyn is responsible for all of the company’s Human Resource and Payroll functions, including Recruitment, Benefits, Performance management and bi-weekly payroll.

Prior to joining Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork in 2021, she worked at CroppMetcalfe an HVAC company as the HR Team Leader with a team of three. Before that she worked at Danella Construction, a union underground utility contractor as the APM. While working at Danella Construction she took on more responsibilities in the HR/Payroll department.

In 2023 she earned her SHRM-CP certification.

In her spare time she enjoys vacationing at the beach with the family and kayaking or tubing on the Shenandoah River.
