Tyson’s Corner, VA

Intelsat’s twelve-story building, located in Tysons Corner, VA and designed by Gensler Architects in coordination with HITT Contracting. This architectural beauty called for multi-angled, black high-gloss wall panels in the grand stairway and were also showcased throughout each floor. The designer added additional color panels to create a pop of color. These panels are visible from the interconnecting stairs with integrated lighting, which spanned six floors! The stair featured custom wood treads and landings. Completed in 2018, the project won a WBC Craftsmanship Award.
